Yup, I think I got it figured out and got a couple cool ideas for the intake tube. Hopefully get some parts done this week. I get home from work tomorrow, T/T at the strip with Roger and bunch of the Alaska guys the night after. Will try and get it done before Saturday and the King Of Street races. Never competed before so this should be interesting

Is t&t open to gawkers? I'll be right around the corner anyways, I'd love to come see some fast trucks...

So all I have to say if **** those worm style hose clamps. I was driving home and got on it to get up ahead of a truck where the lanes go from 2-1 and everything was great till it spun on the 1-2 shift, boost spiked to 12 and then it fell flat on it's face.

T-clamps are already in the mail and I fixed this spot with the two t-clamps I had at the house already. All will be replaced in a few days once the mail arrives..

I was just working on it at Roger's shop a few hours ago cause we re-taped the threads to hold my MAF (thanks again Roger for the help with that). Well I tightened up the worm style clamps as tight as i could get them.

Well when I went to tighten the worm clamp again it's obvious is slipping and not holding tight. So I put the 3 t clamps i already had on the system. Hope the other worm style ones hold up tomorrow at T/T. Just did a few pulls on the back roads to shake it down and everything held tight so should be ok

Did you replace the one that slipped(the one that blew off in the pic)? If not, I probably have one that I can give you. Lemme know.

I bet you thought something broke when that hose came apart, didn't you?

It actually ran some what ok for the next few miles. It happened by the senior center and I made it to the Post office at Settlers. I was very easy to it but it made it. It wasn't till I tried to start it back up at the Post Office and back up and it kept dying that I opened the hood.

And yes the joint before the MAF now has two t-clamps on it and is very snug. Also had one more left so put that one around the throttle body connection. Those t clamps just work so much better, can't wait to get the other's I have coming in the mail. Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday.

I have a hand full of other worm styles that in a pinch I can use to replace if another one wears out till the t clamps get in.
