Can I ask why you just didn't install your dryer with all your fancy plumbing and neat fittings and Gizmos on your 6.0 inch motor Can I assume the 6.0 is a iron block LS motor ?????
There is plenty of room for a front mount kit on these trucks! I sold my 6.0 because it was built/setup for high compression NA, not boost. The reason I initially was gonna go with a 5.3 is because when boosted it seams the 5.3 and 6.0 have the same breaking point, yet the 5.3 is alot less expensive to buy. If you would have read every post you would have realized that I ended up buying another 6.0 afterall... plus I could not have afforded to buy all the parts I needed to go boost had I kept my first 6.0. I sold it along witht he carb for $4k and found another 6.0 for a good deal at $1k, thus leaving me withafter $3k to do the turbo. This is a budget build, my budget was nearly $0 before I sold the first 6.0, and after was over $4k, does this now make sense? I don't have money hanging out of my pockets lol

this is going to be absofreakinglutely sick. are you going to make everything on the hot side yourself?

I like how d-bag up there decided to use your thread for his first negative comment.

Thanks man! Yeah all the hot side will be built at home in the shop lol, except the manifolds of course lol.

Yeah I love it when people do that!

Not the biggest fan of stepsides but your truck is pullin it off quite nicely, what rims/tires you runnin? If you ever wanna sell em lemme know!

Theyre 20" Billet Specialties on Hankook Ventus tires. 20x8 5.25in backspace up front on 255/55R20 and 20x9.5 5.75in backspace in the back on 275/60R20. The wheels tuck perfect but for the back I shouldve done a 6in backspace and used a wider 285/60R20 tire. Some people dont notice it but it irks me.

This is gonna be my first turbo build btw. I actually have a Trick Performance stage 3 kit for the 99-06 trucks that Im gonna modify to fit mine. I think the only thing that I'll have to work on is mounting the intercooler and figure out the downpipe. I'll have to see how the trick downpipe will fit mine. Might have to notch the cab. How are you gonna run the downpipe?

Well since I'm gonna be running a stock manifold facing forward, I should have plenty of room for my down pipe, plus I'm only gonna be running a 3" for now.

Yea mine is 3in too. I cant find much info on here about how much clearance there is for the downpipe. All I heard is that theres not much room.

Look through this guys build, good info. I know it's alot of pages but its worth it. He had KB Racing hot pipes (very similar to Trick's) and he has some pics of how he did his DP.

Yea I saw that. Looks like he had to "massage" the cab and bend the heater core lines outta the way. Im probably gonna get rid of the heater core since im in miami.
