2015 silverado 6.2L build
#1
start off with the basics. I got the truck new in may of 2015. It's a chevy silverado 1500 with 6.2L engine, 8 speed auto trans, and 4x4. It has the LTZ package, crew cab, and short 5' 8" bed. this is what it looked like the day i picked it up.

The stock tires are complete ****, so that had to change. After only 1,000 miles i got all new toyo open country R/T's. mix thread design between all terrains and mud terrains. they grip much better in the wet/snow/dirt/sand. stock tire size was 265/65/18 and i went up to 285/65/18 so in order to fit the slight taller and wider tires i lifted the front 2.5" and the rear 1".
next came exhaust. I wanted something that would flow better for future mods but not be too loud. turns out its quite loud but i don't regret it at all. system consist of Kooks 1 3/4" long tube headers, cat-less Y pipe, and magnaflow 3 1/2" to 4" cat back. It has a 22" muffler and 14" resonator.

Airaid intake came next along with a bed mounted tool box, on-board air compressor, aux battery with isolator, Elite brand pcv catch can with valve cover oil air separator, and a tune.

I was hauling some heavy loads and the rear was squatting too much for my liking. the following picture shows the truck with ~1,500 lbs in the bed.

I installed "helper bags" which are supplementary air springs for the rear that you only air up when you need to, to keep the truck level. here a shot of the air bags and the truck with ~2,000 lbs of rock in the bed.

About a month ago I installed some positive manifold pressure. It's a Whipple 2.9L twin screw supercharger. It has a water to air intercooler and gives me pretty good IAT's. currently its on a 4" pulley which is around 6 psi.

two week after that I installed meth injection system from alky control and a 3.75" pulley. the quality on the alky kit is amazing.

And finally. just yesterday went to a local speed shop and got a pair of AeroForce gauges. easy install all you do is plug in the harness into the OBD2 port and your good to go. gauges can show pretty much any parameter the ECU sees and can display 2 each.

Got some runs in with the current setup.
race weight was around 5,750 lbs
best run was 12.41 at 110 mph
maybe next time ill get some light weight wheels and normal tires. I was running the heavy stock wheels and 80lb off road tires.

Awesome truck. Are you local to Roc / Buffalo?
Id be interested in seeing what it dynoed with the blower and 4" pulley compared to the meth and 3.75 pulley. what PSI is it at now?
New Era does my tuning also.

I'm on Long Island. So it's a bit of a hike.
It's running 9 psi now

Mine with the 4.0 pulley is 6.5lbs, at the top end of the RPM it will slightly go over 7lbs
So I'm guessing him going down 2 pulley sizes and they say each size is 1lbs so saying he started around where I'm at 9 is about right.
I'm wanting to do the same thing with a smaller pulley and meth.
No current dyno?
I may switch gears and do the whole cam, LT4 pump, injectors etc, thing.. Still debating between that and BBK front and rear.
