Well... Such is my life... Didnt get harness built for the bank1 sonsor 2 o2 and the x300, did get tcm programmed (thanks for the vin tgui) and tried to fire it up..... Key word.... tried!!! Ran out of time, before my girl had to be to work, if i had just gone ahead and kept working on it and not spent 2.5 hours dicking with trying to find the connector or a harness. I would have possibly been able to at least drive it home... And worried about the harness and the couple of front fascia bolts that either broke or that i seem to have set somewhere that escapes me at moment.... And i cant remember how much trans fluid i had dumped in the trans previously... So hopefully dipstick is right enough (vette pan with truck dipstick)...

As far as bolt-in.... Everything so far has been plug and play, the y pipe fit as is and didnt need any modification, once i am done and its running i will post harness part number, and whatever other pieces i have part numbers for for anyone else that wants to do this.... Just a word of advice dont bind the harness between the trans, fuel lines and floor board

Old engine and trans out and on the floor at 9:41am ...

New engine in and bolted down at 12:15, spent almost the entire time between removal and installation, figuring out the harness i need to build and the connector that isnt available, and transferring ac compressor, water pump and ground strap.... And manuevering the engine and trans through the shop to the truck.....

By 1:30 had t case driveshaft trans cross member etc all bolted in and buttoned up

Y pipe clearance..... The level check plug is a little more directly over the pipe than i like....

Almost forgot... All this and still havent had a chance to fix my front diff, and after having it out it may not be worth tearing apart without having a set of gears and a carrier ready to go... I knew it was making noise but didnt realize it was this bad!!! If i had to guess rotating torque(preload) is maybe 1-2in lbs and backlash is probably about 3/8 of an inch or so, abd the axle shafts were popping out... Thinking a used front diff would be less expensive even if i need bearings....

Not sure on the Vette but I know the early TBSS was E40 and then went to an E67.
