Easiest way to tell for sure is pull the door panel off. Takes 2 minutes.

HAHA yea that is what I was thinking.

If you are going to be daily driving this truck, I would go for boost. Most supercharger kits come with a tune. It would be reliable as hell and you would have the extra power whenever you need it. Then once you get tired of that, you can add longtubes, cam, ect.

Most people would do it the opposite way by adding longtubes and cam first but if you commit to boost right off the bat, that would determine the cam, conveter, heads, ect that you would buy later down the road. Just my .02

It sounds to me like you need a diesel. Your wanting torque for longhauls, and mpgs. Diesels can get good mileage when modded if you keep your foot out of it.

My MPG varies greatly depending on how heavy my right foot is. Usually it's pretty heavy

I can get upwards to 20 on the hwy or down to 10 in the city LOL

This, I'm on my 4th exhaust, and about to swap mufflers, Need a better cam thats more suited for the procharger, and theres several other things. Make a list of what you want out of your truck and stick with it. Do something right the first time and save money for future mods.
