neither one of them are permanent or the right length, just to hold it up to check clearance, and the passenger side has enough room to come out also, but when the final ones go in, they will come from the front and the nut will be towards the back.

 

Ya it's hard to tell. Looked like it might not come out with the bars in... Thanks for clearing that up

 

Finished up the trans crossmember...

Smoothed out the welds real nice





Mocked it up




Now this plate will be welded to the frame and the nuts will be on the inside, a hole will be drilled to clearance the nuts and the plate will sit flush on the frame and welded all around.

Then the other plate will be welded to the crossmember and allow it to be bolted in
