I didn't know Neutral and Park are actual gears, I thought it was a LACK of a gear? I wonder what locking up the converter in neutral gains during a 1/4 mile pass? Gotta be worth three window stickers and some blinker fluid.

Well I trust you guys to know the trans event better then the trans guy who built my trans. He has a shop and has built some performance trans for mud racing trucks, but mostly Ford stuff. I have had some problems with my trans so maybe he doesn't know the Chevy stuff as well as he should.

Another fine example of this site, My post started if "If I am correct". Apparently I am not correct. It appears that they are 4 speeds no matter how you slice it. Thanks for keeping the site with the same spirit as always.

Did you actually run it at the track or are is that just an estimated time???
