If you have a trans with any kind of "in between" gears, you either have a CVT, or issues...

A 4L60/65/70e only has one band... Not multiple bands...

Maybe you should pull that thing out and figure out how it works before you go trying to post the theory on how you're making it work. There's a lot more going on there than some solenoids and rigged shifters.
