I thought I did. I also mounted them above the a-arm, to get more extension out of them. I will find out how it does real soon. The ones i picked up had the same travel as stock front shocks within .3. Its the compression side im kinda of leary about with them mounted above. When i get the trans back in and the truck lowered back down, i can see what im working with. I think it will be fine though.

Looking good!! Im shopping for front/rears shocks as we speak. I've been thinking of just going the budget route with adjustables Rancho 9000XL and you just had to post pictures of those!! lol Now i want those again!

I will have to take measurments, but I do know this, the top a arm was maxed on its stop on extension without the shock. I was able to bolt up the shock on top of the bottom a arm and below without changing the tops position. so its fully extended with the shock mounted, same way with the stock shock.

Have you tried different adjustments on the caltracs?

I backed mine off (less preload, bushing just touching leaf) and I hooked on all runs compared to prior with 1/4 turn preload.

Hmm i'll check them out. I thought they were alot more than that. Do you have the part #s? I found the rancho fronts for $70 and rears for $92.
