Well... the LKQ had a little too much sludge built up when we went to freshen it up. So it is now torn down completely for cleaning. Not going crazy on a build, just wanted to make sure it was sound before wasting time on a tired engine. Picked up some 243's while we were at it. Always delays.... details once it is all back together.

Also received a new front fascia to fix trailer damage, it will go on the beginning of July when truck goes in to get the hail fixed. Should be ready middle of summer if all goes well.

Annnnnnnnnd 7 months later I have some teaser pics. Just waiting on custom MPS hub to be finished so I can use ZZP pullies. Was told the ZZP MPS would fit, it didnt, so we are fabbing one up for a 2.9". 4L80E and Precision multi-disc L/U has been done for a few months.

Completely refreshed engine with stock internals. Hoping to setup freight once the new year is over and start the install the middle/end of next month.

Havent gotten it in yet. It has been ready to freight for a few months, but going to save and freight the engine and trans together.

Just got back from vacation, so should have the engine in the next 2 weeks. Still debating the install myself, or take it to Nelsons...

Just got a snapshot of the pulley hub coming along on the lathe. Had to do alot of measurements and open up the ZZP pulley end a little bit, but the 2.9" will fit. Not going to be able to go any smaller unless I have the snout CNC'd down to give clearance though.

Will have 2.9" with 10% OD, so hoping that will suffice for our needs. If not, I can add a bottle later to assist...

After many noteworthy stories, the drivetrain is awaiting my pickup from the freight company this friday.

Now just have to figure out if I pay for install, or try to tackle myself... More to come in the next couple months.

Those roush 1900's are a bad *** set up! They have a great manifold design. Give it a big heat exchanger and a capable pump and you will make GREAT power.

Do you have a cam already? I could help you pick one that will be an absolute beast in the 5.3 with that blower.

What size are those tires? I hate that people complain about their lack of traction with big power... its one of the few options out there for a wide tire on a 20" wheel.

I was debating trying to fit the 29x15 sportsman SR under my truck on a 20.

I debated upgrading the HE while installing the setup, but wanted to try the stock so that I could see the gains when I order an upgrade. Any recommendations other than the standard frozen boost?

Cam was spec'd by TSP for the build, so hopefully it works out well.

Tires are the only tires that fit these 20x14's. I hate that they are the only option, and so damn expensive, but they do the job. I have been debating grabbing a pair of 15's to put track tires on, but the stock 4.8 hasnt needed anymore tire than these yet : - P

Picking up tomorrow around noon, still waiting to get some quotes back. Going to buy engine hoist in the meantime.
