Seen a few of these intakes fully welded and hold up so will see. Not saying your wrong or anything as I'm no welder just seen more of these intakes posted broken at all the screw points so don't think welding it would make it worse. I see what your saying tho. If you have or seen one of these intakes in person you can see how weak the mounting points look. They are casted small and very thin in some points... Think Holley needs to rethink there casting on this intake as some points are questionable to say the least
the HI ram is chinese made fYI
and we run one on our notch and it has seen 26 psi with no issues yet but will say you need to check the screws from time to time as they want to back loose and that will cause you issues. when they back loose then apply boost it cracks

Yeah think Robbie (grey Ghost) broke his hi ram and had his welded up. If thats the blue truck your talking about. Still kind of a toss up for me to weld it or leave it as is. I plan on running around 35-38lbs on the high setting but will prob be around 20lbs 95% of the time.

holley dominator and either twin 4303s or mechanical Weldon... You know if its true about the mechanicals that they have to be rebuilt all the time? Also not sure how to size a mechanical pump as they are rated in GPMs. E85 will be used a lot so need to size for that too.
