Yooooo, the turbo kit turned out great. Lets see some tire smoke now!

I have some questions about the accumulator relocation you did. I can't tell from the pics, so how did you connect the top of the accumulator to the firewall? And did you make a new suction hose down to the compressor?

Yeah from the 99-07 body style to the nnbs the nnbs have a lot more room I'm guessing coming from how wide they are. My lil bros truck even since it's a 2wd doesn't have anywhere the clearance my truck has and that's because I'm 4wd. The 2wds have even more room because the front diff case mount on the frame isn't there.

The hoses right now are temporary as its really hot down here in South Texas (100+ already) so I needed something to get me by. AC works great but still need to make my actual finished lines and put them on the truck. As of now I cut the fitting off the top of the accumulator with enough material to fit a AC hose over and clamp. Its the suction side so it doesn't see a lot of pressure. The other side that goes to the compressor is basically the same except I used 2 factory suction lines and doubled them up to reach. They bolt to the accumulator and compressor like stock there just joined in the middle. That line ill have made here local since those end fittings are pretty common and the line should be easy to make by a shop. The Top of the accumulator tho will have a -12 bung welded to it as well as a -12 bung to the fitting that bolts to the firewall. Hope that makes sense.

Well so just out of curiosity every time you change lines do you go and have a shop refill the system or do you have some other way of doing that?

I have only charged them once so far and I have the equipment and tools to do it. When I get my new lines done I shouldnt have to worry about messing with them again.

Can you post some pics of how you have the cross over joining the pass side below the turbo?

Cool man, thanks for the help. I have manifold gauges, so I just need a vacuum pump and I'll be able to charge the system myself. I really don't like other people working on my stuff.

After doing some research last night, it looks like making a custom suction hose is pretty easy. Just need barrier hose and some crimp fittings. I just need to find a way to attach a #10 female fitting to the accumulator.

Yeah I'll try and snap one for you after work. Basically comes together right under the turbo flange and has a stub with a v band that the crossover ties into. The Wastegate is right of that y section.

Here's a pic of the manifold when I was putting it together to give you an idea...
