I was wondering what Nitrous kits everyone has? The reason Im asking is because Im looking at buying a kit in the next 6 months for my 04 Silverado with a 4.8L (drive by wire) with a manual trans. Before that Ill be getting HPtuners so Ill be able to tune. Ive looked at both Nitrous direct and Nitrous outlet for kits. Can all the LS1 kits be used on our trucks or is there only certain ones? I know that I will be buying from both places since they have accessories that I want when I do purchase a kit.

Also I was wondering how big of a shot I can go? So far looking at old posts that 100 shot is the safest you can go, is that correct? I know that I have to retard my timing for that big of a shot, but what temp rating do I need for plugs? Do I need a window switch if I have a manual trans?

i have a Cold Fusion Kit..never had any problems with it..nitrous express, cold fusion, TNT are all good nitrous kit..just to let you know that every time i blew a transmission(3) and my motor i was running a 150 shot..never had any problems on a 100 shot..so guess what shot im running now?? 150 shot..lol
