Default Nitrous Kit Cost...Am I missing Something?

I have found full nitrous kits online for around $300. But when I look on the classifieds on this website you cant touch one for under $400. Are there extra parts that are going to be needed if I buy this kit. Are there different degrees of good/bad nitrous kits??

Quality of a kit is why there may be a price diff. i dont know what other complete kits you seen for 300 but if its an off brand you may want to research the company before you buy it.

As far as the kit you linked it looks to be a very basic dry system with no safety extras I may be wrong but i didnt see an activation switch it did say wiring harness but id give them a call just to make sure. Nitrous Outlet has some very nice stuff which ive personally seen but havent had a chance to use yet (hopefully be this weekend i will) but others here will agree that they have quality products.

like jdawg said, the kit u have listed is a very basic dry kit, most the kits u see for sale are wet kits with possibly bottle heaters, purges, window switches, tps switches, theres a ton of things they could have listed, because an avg wet kit with all the goodies is like $1100

You might wanna look into the TB plate injection kits too. I have one and I love it. Like said above you need a window switch, heater, gauge, purge kit and some other stuff too.

Not to get our sponsors in a battle or anything, but HSW's dry kit is here...

basic like the kit you linked. It helps to compare kits with other vendors. I am pretty sure Nitrous Outlet has in their kit a WOT activation switch. Usually an arming switch and a WOT switch. Those dry kits are as basic as it gets.

Me personally I have found the need to heat the bottle, but if cheap power is what ya want and you aren't to tore up about more safety gaurds, those basic dry kits are it.

It is just a bone basic dry kit, you will still need to buy the purge for it, so figure another 70 bucks on top of that also a bottle heater, but thats up to you on the heater. I have the harris speed works dry kit, it was a very well quality kit..

DEW WHERE IS THE VID>>>>

Fuel pressure safety switch
TPS switch
RPM switch
Purge
Bottle opener
Bottle heater
Heater pressure gauge if you want the heater automatic
N2O bottle pressure gauge
Switch panel
Relays
Wiring
Fuses

Those cheap kits are gonna give you a solenoid, feed line, bottle and a button to activate. Everything listed above is what adds the other $800

Build a kit. Go around and see how has what on sale. Don't buy crap, but kits aren't always money savers. I have a COLDFUSION gas sol., NOS fuel sol., Dynotune duelpurge kit, two different companies bottles, NOS heater, NX shark nozzle, etc. Most of I got off Ebay, I've probably got less then $500 in the whole thing.

If you are looking for cost affective check out the brand X line we carry. The systems are on sale for 299.99 right now. While it is not designed to compete with the large high flowing Nitrous Outlet system it is a well built and reliable system.
