Haven't heard a whole bunch of good things about the ZEX solenoids or the Nitrous management unit I preferably like the NX solenoids wrapped in carbon fiber

will this be a piece together kit or can I buy this as a kit?

I know some guys with Lightnings have gone to using the 30" slicks to get alittle taller sidewall and more bite off the line. Just a thought to help you hook. Also, since you're spinning off the line you'll want a window switch to keep the nitrous from hitting off the line. With an extra 100-150 you'd really be spinning out of the hole.
I am using 28's but only 9" wide. I am going to a 10.5 so I will see how that works.

Nitrous has a bad name because it's so cheap to get started with. You can buy a $300 kit and throw it on your truck and technically it would function fine. Now that's where you run into problems. People negate all the safety equipment and then as soon as a problem occurs they have a much bigger and more expensive problem. I have close to $800 into my nitrous system and I bought everything used. I have a list a mile long that most would say is overkill, but it never hurts to be too sure.

Agreed. When money gets tight, first thing out the window is usually safety stuff. The newest trick is the lean shutoff setup. Basically you just set you rich and lean limits, and the controller will kill the setup if you exceed the defined limits.

Check out the HSW MicroEdge. It has a window switch, lean shutoff, gear lockout, and a TPS (WOT) switch all in one for a crazy cheap price. The thing is crazy, and worth every penny. Give the guys a chance at your business. I know they will win you over.
