I had 76K miles on my stock one with 75 shot CAI, 4.10's, exhaust and headers and 1pass at the track on street tires cooked mine. But don't be scared of the spray you will not go faster for cheaper! If something happens which is likely being tranny is almost stock just build it back stronger!

well thanks for the assurance Burgundy&TanMan, guess I will have to get my tranny built before i get the N20. Im thinking a true trac wouldnt hurt either. I like my stock 373's but that g80 isnt so good.

Not tryin to scare ya or anything, that was just my experience with my 4L60E. I dont understand but my G80 is still alive with all my mods that's something i still dont understand. I think what were all trying to say about the tranny it's not a question of if it will break it's a question of when

The G80 isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. From what I have read over the years, as long as you don't drive like an a$$hole (donuts, fishtails, drifts, john force burnouts, etc.), the G80 holds up well. I remember a guy launching on nitrous in the 10's running his G80 without missing a beat for years.

what are the limits of a 4l60e with the HD2 shift kit servo and stall, with the juice? i was thinking about this

and like a 75 shot until i can get my tranny built.

i wouldnt think that would work so well either.
but i found a good deal on a procharger so the juice is outta the picture now. still going to have to get that tranny rebuilt no matter what.
