Default HSW Bottle Heater Installed

Just got done. I've never installed any other kits to compare but I can't imagine any better kits for the money. All good stuff and everything you need. Down to water tight connectors. In my case some of the supplied wiring wasn't long enough to reach the rear of the truck but hey.

Some questions and thoughts.
1> The pressure is regulated post valve on the bottle per the instructions. I questioned this but followed them and they do have a disclaimer at the very end saying turn the bottle on dummy. Problem I see is that if you were to forget to turn on the bottle valve and turn on the heater it could see low line pressure and continuously heat the bottle. I expected to put the pressure relief in the bottle port where you put a pressure valve. Don't understand the logic..
2> I wired it, per the instructions, to only allow the heater to work with ignition on accessory. So if you were say sitting in the pits at the track you'd have to have the truck running or ignition on accessory to heat. Will keep from running the battery down but I'd say a chance of not having a good heated bottle on cold days? This would be an easy thing to fix if I wanted to but hopefully somebody will chime in with maybe some cons I'm not seeing.
3> I'm going to the instructions but it looks like the pressure is set to 900 psi. Maybe didn't leave it on long enough but I thought it should regulate to 950 psi. I know I can adjust it but would 900 be good?

Didn't take any pictures, camera battery was dead but will tommorow if anybody is interested in seeing some?

Let's see. Pressure regulator outside valve, check. My heater and purge will work with key in 'off' position so I can keep it warm while waiting in line. The heater uses hardly any power.
Recommended pressure is 900 but I turned mine up a little bit

I think I will wind up wiring it so that I can power it without the key on.

I had the regulator on mine and it was leaking so I went to tighten it and it broke off nitrous everywhere (couldn't see ****). Now I just have it hooked straight to the heater and watch my pressure. Easier IMO then fiddling with the regulator. I am about to ditch the heater and make my own nitrogen push system. I am getting tired of wasting nitrous.

Running great! No real benefit from the heater yet but it will help this winter.

I have read about regulators leaking, so far so good with mine. Keeping the fingers crossed. If I had the bottle in cab I could see just manually cycling the bottle heater but being in the bed I dunno.

Some pictures for the heck of it. Its working great and does hold 950psi. I also put it on a battery circuit so that I can turn it on whenever. Now to not forget and turn it off.

Bottle and heater in the bed of the truck. You can see the relay under the bottle. I am a little worried about the relay getting hot from the heater and will watch it.

Weather pack connections to unhook things when bottle needs attention.

The control panel for all the gizmos now. Top row the toggle for the exhaust cutouts. Nitrous arm and then bottle heater. LED's so I can tell when on. The rocker on the bottom panel turns on the electric fans.

Looks real good if you keep the bottle close to the outside of the bed will there be enough room for a sheet of plywood 4x8 I do haul alot of ply wood and especialy drywall. are you comeing up on the 7th I dont blame you if you dont race they give no warning when they break I was lucky and was able to limp home
