How to set a FPSS without a FP Gauge?
Going to be installing my NX Proton Plus system soon on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7. I'm starting off at a 75 hp jet and moving up to a 100 hp shot. I know my fuel pressure at idle is 58 psi, not sure how much that matters. This is my first nitrous install, and need as much info and help as possible, I am mechanically inclined and want to do this the right way the first time.
I was originally going to use a push button with the WOT micro switch, but after a bit more reading and research I've decided to use the FPSS and an MSD 8969 window switch and may need some assistance with wiring this up as well. Thanks in advance!!!

To really set the switch properly you would have to have a fuel pressure gauge on it so you know where your pressure is at.
However the switch you have should be at 35 PSI witch is high enough to catch a fuel pump that is not quite large enough to support the HP you are spraying.
However if you are concerned about it not being high enough then you could send that switch to me as well and i can set it at a higher pressure for you.

If it is an NX FPSS they should be set at 35-40psi out of the box, you should be fine without having to adjust the switch. As for the wiring just follow the Window switch wiring diagram:

Since I'm using the MSD window switch the wiring will be different. With the MSD the yellow will go to the FPSS and the white will go to the coil? I am curious if I will need a tach adapter? I have read some threads on other forums saying that the signal was too "noisy" on Chrysler vehicles and wouldn't give a good signal.

correct, but they should come out of the box set to 35psi
yes that is correct,
and yes that purge is plumbed in there correctly.
