Default got questions on a dry shot

Ok so here we go..
my buddy has a Busa that has a dry shot on it.
Off the 'noid it has a .036 jet, from there it goes to a "T" and branches off to two Dry Nozzles in the air box with .020 jets.

Now we are taking that off since the copper line the previous owner used is coming out of the fittings.

We are using Stainless hard brake lines on it now..
But one question i cant figure out is why they would run a 36 at the noid and a 20 at the nozzles..

Figured it was to slow down the hit??

But now we are redoing it tonight with a Direct port style setup and just gonna run a 30 at the noid and see how it does.

Dry nozzles in it now..

You guys think with the larger .036 jet in the noid that its gonna slow down the nitrous and make it hit alot softer?
They wanna try a 50 shot with the new direct port. so a .018 in each line goin to the TB's along with the .036 in the noid, should be a 50 shot.

And after it was all said and done we ended up with this.

4 .020 pills for a 50 shot haha. Gonna be awesome.

They wanted $300+ for a direct port kit. We got $25 in this one including tools.
