Default Finally going to install it

So, I bought a nitrous kit a couple of years ago for my truck, and I've never gotten around to actually installing it. I think that will be my weekend project.

I have a couple of questions though. Currently my tune is a 91 oct Blackbear data log tune, should I get a hold of them and have them dial back my timing a few degrees (going to be spraying dry 75Hp).

The other one is a dandy of a question.... nozzle placement.

I'm running a Volant CAI with the stock MAF. However, when I was younger and dumber, I installed a throttle body spacer.... That has me thinking that I could drill and tap that and have a makeshift plate system. The system has a shark nozzle, I believe.

Also, what is the going rate per lb to get filled for you guys?

Truck Info

2002 5.3L
216/220 .525/.532
3200 Circle D single disc converter
Performabuilt Level 2 transmission
3.73 gears
243 heads milled .030 with a .040 head gasket thickness

Depending on how aggressive they have your timing you might need to back it down, but definitely give them a shout on that. If running a dry setup you will have to place the nozzle before the MAF so it can read the change and adjust appropriately. We sell nitrous here for $4.50lb.

I knew there was a reason why some people sprayed in front of the MAF, but I couldn't remember what it was. Well that makes that part easy.

So paying $6.50/lb isn't outrageous for being in the middle of BFE.
