Default Eeek

Just tried the new nitrous plate pilled for a 75 shot.. The LS2 didnt like it at all. The first run was terrible, barely got it to 5000 rpms and had to get out. It threw a misfire code, so we swapped out the plugs for some TR6s gapped to .038". Next run it ran a little better, still threw a misfire code, but managed a full runonly 22 hp over our baseline. Timing was jumping all over the place from 35* to 18*, O2's were .825-.900mv on Bank 1 and .950 to .990mv on Bank 2. My guess is the stock fuel pump aint supplying enough.
We're gonna do some HP Tunin this weekend and hook up the Wideband, see if it just needs to be re-pilled or take some timing out..

Going by the o2's it looks like you are getting more than enough fuel. 870-890 is ideal.

something is definitely not right... what is your tune set as far as timing? do you have a device that pulls timing when you spray? the jumps from 35*-18* is kinda crazy.

just to clarify this is the plate between the TB and intake manifold right?

i have yet to check the readings on my nitro dave plate but first time out it fired off just right. double check everything. make sure you don't have air leaks somewhere and make sure you don't have the jets backwards.

Yes it is the Nitrous Outlet plate.. There may be a slight possibility (that I havent checked yet) that the lines are backwards.. My plate was machined to where the entry ports are on the side of the plate, rather than rear to accomodate the taller intake. There weren't marked by Dave's machinist, so its a possibility.

Take the plate off and fire the system, making sure your nitrous is flowing. Mickey mouse 75hp and throw codes on any kits just ain/t right.
