I want 2 put a cam in my truck n I was think about maybe a 75 wet shot what kind of cam should I run n should I upgrade my injectors

 

-Z06 Cam 204/218 117.5 -Cheap, decent power n/a and good nitrous cam (run's good with stock stall/gears)

-212/218 112-114 -Good n/a power and good nitrous cam (run's good stock stall and 4.10s)

-220/224 112-114 -Great n/a and very nice nitrous cam (recommend at least 3000stall and at least 3.73 gears)

-224/227 112-114-same as 220/224

These are just a few tried and true cams.

Yes, for $100, pick up some 8.1L injectors from ebay.

You will be needing a custom tune for any cam for the most power!

 

If you're running a wet shot injectors won't be a necessity. Especially since it's just a 75 shot.

As for a cam, what's your direction with your truck? How nasty do you want it? Got heads planned? Plan on upgrading springs? Are you installing a TC? Details need to be answered to best suit your needs.

 

And for the record, stuff's call NITROUS not NOS...NOS is a brand name of a nitrous kit just like TNT, HSW, NX, ect...

A tame cam that has a good sound and good driveability and doesnt require comp 918's and is a all around good cam but really loves the bottle is the lingenfelter gt2-3. You can safely run a 100-125 all day. Your tranny wont like the juice anyway you throw it at it untill you get a built one.

I have a buddy who has a trans am that runs 8.1s in the 1/8 I want 2 play with him but I plan on putting on head just not right now n I'm going 2 change the springs out I don't really want 2 put a t/c in cuz I drive it everyday
