Window switch will mainly help your tranny, unless your just talking about to keep it from hitting before 3k rpms.
But if i wanted to spray a 200shot IMO i'd run a progressive controller rahter than have the 200 hit all at once.

If this is on a stock motor I want video of it the first couple of time you try it out especially if it is not on a progressive controller.

If he dials in the tune and uses a progressive controller it will hold it just fine. The tranny however won't like it much.
A fairly local guy down here has a 5.3 running a 200shot on it a few bolt ons.
Engine is fine tranny has gone out a few times though lol.

I have run a 150 on a completely stock engine, when my truck gets done, if ever, I plan on seeing how far a stock bottomed 5.3 will go. I have the trans to support it TH400, hopefully the t-case and diffs will too. I plan on running a 2 stage, 150 out of the hole and 100 whenever i get traction. If it holds im just going up from there.......

Theres a shop here that had a 300wet on a all stock vette 5.7ls1 as one single stage, just to see how itd hold up, they had it dyno tuned. and if i remember right they said it lasted two 10lb bottles worth.

5.3 will take 300 on a dual stage with a good tune. I wouldn't do 300 on a single but 200 is very doable. Make sure your tune is on and go for it if you got the trans.
