If you want it to last, I would get a standalone with some higher octane fuel, at least 6 degrees pulled, good tune, and ngk r5671a-7 plugs. It will last...

I've hit my stock internal 6.0L with coutless bottles of 150-200 shots and its been in the truck since 2004. Now transmissions..........that's another story all together.

same i have hit countless bottles for the past 30,000 miles of a 200-250 shot and never have had a problem, plugs are always clean and when i pulled the heads bout 2 months ago it was spotless, no pitting or anything, looked brand new with 80,000 mile on it

The difference to me is fly wheel or rear wheel. The different company classify their systems differently. Mine is set at 180 flywheel, 150 rear wheel horse. Would I go to 200 flywheel, in a heartbeat. Would I go to 200 rwhp maybe, but I would get there slowly.

I think what we should be looking at is how much total hp the rotating assembly can handle.
And maybe assume that detonation is left out of the equation.

Adding a 200 shot to a stock (approx 300hp) engine is different than adding a 200 shot to an engine that has a mods to get it around 400hp NA.

Maybe looking at the (dependable) power output level of an engine with a maggie would be a good way to decide what it can handle.

the assembly is good for aroud 600rwhp, thats why when i did the cam and other bolt ons i backed the shot down from a 250 to a 200

I hit my 5.3L setup with about 10 bottles at a 200shot. Sold the motor and its still running 2 years later.

Made 491RWHP and 505TQ on a 200.

I was running and would recommend the FJO progrwessive controller.
