Thanks , yeah I forgot to include I just went with a l99 phaser gear and the 5456 cam phaser limiter .. forgot to include that as it wouldn’t work without it and tune .. yes I got my black bear tune in yesterday ,so will be installing it all this weekend ..

 

Going to get a methanol kit was looking at snow performance 212. But found out it was discontinued, which kinda makes me skeptical as part won’t be available for the kit if they mess up .. found some kits floating around that still available

 

I fail to see a reason for a meth kit on a NA vehicle.

Premium fuel or running E85 should be just fine for a bolt on engine. Any decent tuner can dial things in to run properly with safe air fuel ratio's and timing.

 

I know problem is I live in Alaska and we have shitty gas only 90oct which limits me in every aspect pretty much lol

 

Got started today , gotta take diff off oil pan then oil pump and cam , then it’s all down hill from there .. what size dowel rods work best ? 1/4 or 5-16 And help would be greatly appreciated

 

Oh btw don’t make the dumb mistake I made and take the wrong bolt out of the phaser lol.. glad my dealer had one in stock
