Default Kinda new member with a new toy

]Hey guys haven't really used this site yet. I came from ls1tech, and lost my formula, I just got a lt1 block bored .40 over and plan to drop it into the 2 wheel drive and I will have alot of questions in the next few months.
here are pics of my two trucks. not much yet but i am die hard chevy man and love both trucks. I have had the 2 wheel drive for about 5 years and just brought the 4 wheel drive. there both 1989 with 350's. I also just brought a dana 60 and dana 44 for the 4 wheel drive. So i've got two projects just trying to figure out which one i wanna start first. Hope you guys like and hope you all have some good ideas.

Nice trucks man As far as the 4wd goes. Check the tranny when you get a chance. I had a 97 and as soon as I put the Big tires on it, It fried the tranny. I had a Dick Cepek Extreme 1 6 1/2 inch with 36x12.50/15 with 4.10 gears front and rear w/ lockers. The truck had no problems turning the tires, it would even spin them on asphalt. The only problem is when the truck was on the hwy like going to the camp or driving to shows more than an hr or so away it was too much strain on it. Other than that. They are extremely fun and the Dana 60 and 44 will definately help you out. Another hint. To prolong the life of the truck. If at all possible clean the underside of the truck and apply some kind of line x or something of that nature to the bottom of the body and inner fenders. You'll add a little weight but cleaning will be easier and it will inhibit rust a whole lot better. Keep us posted man and good luck. Oh yeah buy you a big hammer and some spare u joints and keep them in your truck. They break easy when mud riding and that will get you out of a bind. Any other questions or opinions, PM me.
