Default New Heavily Modified Guy with not so modified Truck

hey, Name is Matt, I live in Arkansas and hate 4WD trucks primarily because of the reason most get them for around here. its all about "mudding" and what not, there are the select few who get them because they will need them because of there jobs. But I have a 1966 Chevy 3/4 Ton Camper special truck. I love the old trucks, but I'm not real sure as to which direction that i want to go with it just yet. keep it all stock or go all out and mod it until I'm happy. its a Long bed which that bugs me a little bit because I've never really been much for the long bed look. it works on some trucks but most I'm not a fan of. Either way it needs work. it has rust problems here and there needs a new bed but all in all, I've not come across anything that they don't make a patch for or cant be repaired. so the question really is mod the thing out to the max or keep it all stock. It has in it right now the Original I6 250 with single barrel carburetor and the original clutch and Muncie HD 4speed.

I was thinking chop it to a short bed, chop the top, Jet Black with a LS motor and 6 speed, leveled, 4 disc brakes, good rims and tires, Dark Cherry wood bed, with custom badging and what not but thats just off the top of my head, not that I've been thinking about it or anything.

yeah I thought about doing a frame chop like they did on horse power and then having the frame blasted then doing a box and have it powdered. then just get a short bed ...bed and put it on there. I know i've got to get rid of those tiny 8 lugs lol
