Default turbo 4.8 truck vs turbo 5.3 fox.

This is a race with Mt buddys turbo 5.3 foxbody, it's a stock 5.3 with a ls6 cam and a on3 70mm turbo on 10 psi and e85, it dyno'd 540 on 10 psi pump gas and now it's on e85. He went 11.3@128 vs my 12.0@120 on this pass. He ended up going 10.6@131 later that night yet. I think it would of been a close run but this is were my converter was acting up, rpm just sat in the corner the hole time, should of went low 11s at 125.

He may have won buy a little bit but he will still have to call you when he needs plywood to build a dog house! haha

Glad to see some racing from a dig! I don't like roll racing at all!

Lol yeah it was at the track, was still a little hard to hook up with it being cloudy and 40 degrees out. IM a big fan of dig racing myself, it tests the driver skill of setting it up and driveing it not just how much money he has to spend in the engine.

I think I may have layed over some fins in the converter, I can brake stall like 2000 rpm higher now and won't hold any power, when the boost hit in first gear it flashed so high it shifted into second gear, I'll be getting a pro yank converter this winter and a set of slicks, maybe I can brake the ol 4.8 into the 10s!

Why is it "gay" to roll race? Can you stop in the middle of the interstate an get a dig run in?

I like both an from a roll is always fun bc it gives those slower e.t trucks with good moh to prove what they have in their setup

Good idea. PY3600 should hit real hard in that thing. Might be a little tight but the top end will pick up a ton. What converter is in it now?

Right now I have a pro edge racing converter, it brake stalls 3200 and makes 6 psi on the 2 step, id really like to be able to two step at 3500 then I think I could take off with 10psi maybe. I don't like this converter at all, it's a 9.5in and only a single disk so I can't take off hard and once it's boosted up it acts like it can't hardly hold the power, only seeing 600-700 rpm shift drop on 16 psi, and I want to run 19 on a 50 hit yet.
