Thanks for the input fellas!
John, since my gauges are collecting dust in my closet, I couldn't tell you.
So Allen tuned accordingly...Lower shift point, timing, ect.
skeet, I do plan on it! I think I will start off around a 3.6" pulley see where that takes me and go from there.
Cody and I will be doing the DOD delete/cam swap once he gets his house and garage all settled. (specs are 212/224 .556"/.560" 115+2) As of now I also am planning on running e85 when it's all said and done.
More vids to come once everything is finished. I would hope to have this thing all buttoned up by the end of next two months, but who knows.
Last but not least is the True-Trac

With a 3.6" pulley you should be around 9-10#, that's what I got with a 3.6 and a similar cam to the one you on your plans. You going 8 rib setup ? If not you should think about a reichard racing pulley, I was getting bad belt slip with a regular 3.7 and with the RR 3.6 (6 rib)that went away, they're a bit expensive but well worth every penny.
Do you have lontubes or not?
Our setups should be nearly identical except for a few odds and ends here.
Do you have any numbers on your truck?
P.S. Chalino Sanchez ftw

I dont know what youre talking about, Im going to sit back in my chair, drink beer and watch you work
FYI Im going to pick that other truck up this weekend so mid next month we can do your fuel system and gauges. Ill shoot you a text here soon once I nail down a closer weekend. I gotta get that damn black truck running so I can get it out of the way and should give you a good idea of what we're in for when we do your cam/DOD delete. If youre bored swing by this weekend.
You should also check into getting an HD tensioner for your setup. Leftcoast32 sells the adpater bracket and everything to run the maggy hd tensioner on a non maggy tensioner bracket.

If thats the case, we might be there for a while!
Good to see your going to get that black truck, I'm tired of seeing that tranny in my garage!
I'll help out with whatever I can on that black truck, this weekend will probably be a good weekend where I'll have some free time so count me in! I was going to do the gauges this weekend myself had the a pillar off and had the gauges ready to go, until I figured out I didnt have a mulitmeter
so I decided to put everything back together and go play some golf! Thanks for the info about that tensioner, I'll have to get into contact with LC32 on that one.
