Default Pics of the Face Off Scarab

This belongs to a close friend of mine it is one of the 3 orange scarabs used in the Movie Face Off , this is the one used in the last fight scence towards the end of the movie. I did all the engine work on it , it was not pro charged when he got it.

Very nice! I have always wondered about FI in marine applications, they stay in boost for long periods of time, right?

I'd imagine they do, but on the plus side the air is cooler over the water.

It has 2 speeds idle and wide open. The system doesn't have a thermostat so it pumps sea water straight through to keep operating temps down. So it keeps it out of detination. It also has a sea water intercooler.

Badass, it app to be a bravo upper with a imco lower.. I would imagine that motor is in the hood of 600+ on the blower... Got to love the fresh feed of the cold water to cool things

So with the ever constant heat exchange with fresh (or sea) water IAT's and egine coolant temps stay low, way lower than a land vehicle would, right?

More than likely it has an A2W intercooler with a pedo tube for cold water pick up.

Nice Boat!

Nice Boat!
The engine sea water pump , pumps it directly through the intercooler . The engine does not even have a circulating pump just the sea waterpump.
