Just got back from the track....what a joke
I ran better times with my 5.3 due to lack of traction....but I did trap 6mph higher. Using a generic formula based on trap and weight I am putting slightly more than 600 to the ground. I drove 30 minutes there and got straight in line, still had my tools in the back and all.
This was with 7lbs of boost and 20 degrees of timing on 93 pump gas. Zero issues with knock or detonation.
I tried a 4wd launch and almost ate the wall, so screw that mess.
heres the video, no laughing at my driving skills

Damn that put things into perspective... I am running 89mph in the quarter. Of course a cammed peg leg 4.8 is totally different then a supercharged 6.0 4wd. I wish my take offs were that clean. Perfect that 4wd launch...your time would be awesome with all that traction.
I might have to change my user name on here and license plate to "FN SLOW".
Moderators can we do this?

I'll post up the vid of my 4wd launch... its scary lol

It was much more dramatic behind the wheel, but one of front wheels lost traction and pulled hard to the other side almost putting me into the wall....the lights are screwed because I drove past it on the way up
I am wondering if limiting straps and tie rod sleeves would help. All of you other 4wd guys take off perfectly straight, im jealous.
