I'm dropping the axles off tomorrow after work to get them re-drilled and the hub turned down. My buddy and I were going to do it but he is having trouble with his pulling truck and working 14 hour days so he didn't have time.
I did spend a little time 20-30 min. putting the window tint on the side windows. Easy and only cost $12 so it is a win in my book. I kept it legal on this truck so I don't have the cops after me. The pics don't really do it justice.

I worked on the rear a little tonight. I got the U-bolts in with the stock mounting plates on the bottom and keep the 8.8 sway-bar. From what I have read it couldn't be done but I am 90% sure I can make this work now. I have some pics to share but the Iphone makes things look real shitty, the truck is not that nasty on the bottom. BTW the U-bolts are not tight they are just snug.

Looking good man. Yea everywhere I read also says the sway bar mounts have to be cut off to clear the shocks but good job making that work. Not trying to bust your bubble just a piece of vital info but from my understanding 8.8's are notorious for the diff caps to "walk" and cause damage. I was highly recommended by the shop that narrowed my rear end to buy a cover with cap supports if I planned on hard launches every once in a while but that seems to be their only weak point.

[QUOTE=TXsilverado;5106388]my 8.8 will have cap studs, a cover with cap supports, welded tubes and some S.O.S bars. these bars help with axle tube bending.[QUOTE]
My axle tubes are welded also. Another weak point for 8.8
