No need for a gauge on the rail because I can't get it to drip out of the check valve at the end.
I have had multiple guys on S10forum.com comment on the way I hooked up the filter and they all say it is the right way.
I just put the bed on it two days ago so I will have to take it off now to check. When I put the pump and bucket it I thought everything was OK but there is obviously something wrong.
I have not verified the voltage at the pump. How do you suggest I test it?

Ok I fixed the problem. Looks like the hose sent with my aeromotive fuel pump didn't like being submerged in fuel. I know it sounds weird but it is what it is. I fired it up to night and here is a little video. I will be picking up my drive shaft tomorrow after work. I had it shortened 2" and new U-joints installed.
PS the water pump is bad...
Oh and the turn downs were just setting in the mufflers that's why one of them fell out in the video. lol

Glad you got it fixed.
As far as the voltage, I just wanted to make sure you were getting the full 12 volts to the actual pump. Some time's if a connection is not solid or if a relay or fuse is bad, it can limit the amount of current actually getting to the pump.
And those stupid hoses can be a PITA as you have found out. At least you found it rather quickly.

I put a new water pump on the truck so it will hold water now, but I have bad news and really bad news.
Bad news: Idler pulley is going out so I will get a new one.
REALLY BAD NEWS: The trans is junk. The truck wont move and when in gear it makes a grinding/knock sound. Looks like I will having the trans rebuilt and beefed up. while I'm at it I am thinking of going with a YANK converter too. This means I will be selling my four wheeler to pay for it.

Installed the kill switch on the truck today but I still need to put the push off sticker on.
I plan on unscrewing the push rod so you will never see it while street driving and put it back on for track duty.
