question about the lightning supercharger

I heard that they "mess up" often, is this true AND what is a good way to know that it wont "mess up" if buying one?!

Who told you this??? I have never heard of any issues other then the 99-00's having a issue with the coolant resi leaking, sucking it into the engine.. Sides that, nothing..

Got a buddy with an 02 Harley edition (i believe somewhere around there) and hes never had any problems with the charger.
