Yet another fun cam thread

I ran my puny 206/212 in my 5.3 on the factory converter for years and it was fine, but after I finally installed the Circle-D 258mm 3k converter I realized that I wished that I had done the converter first
IMO, all of the GENIII/IV engines can benefit from a higher stalled converter even in stock form.
*Just a little side note: notice how many times that I referred to the torque converter as a "converter" as opposed to a "stall", which is not what it is, but what it does
Sorry, that's just something that irks me...like calling "nitrous oxide" "nawz"

I also hate when people calls it NAWZ, NAWS, NOS!! Nos is a brand lol.

yes it is and it really needs a stall, BAD lol. Just got done building the motor so a 7-900 dollar converter will have to wait a bit. Its not bad driving i just think it would be alot more fun with a 3k stall or so

I thought about that, but I was told they work alot better for forced induction applications. I could get one for a decent price from a buddy of mine though...all I have to do is find a new one for his car haha
