I've noticed that my thread here doesn't pop up under the New Posts link when I and someone else posted to it. Then I noticed that other threads with new posts aren't showing up in there as well. For example, right now under New Posts, only 25 threads have new posts in the past 5 hours today, which seems very light for a Thursday.

What are some threads showing up and others not? New Posts is typically the first place I go to catch up on the PT scuttlebutt, builds and Q&A.

 

If you have clicked on the thread it will not show up. Could that be what is happening?

 

That's exactly what it is. I don't remember it being like that before. But you're right, every thread I visit is not listed the next time I go to New Posts. Thanks for clarifying for me.

 

Yea that happened a few months ago when IB made some big changes...theres a thread about it somewhere...

 

So how do we circumvent this? What's the point of the "new posts" feature if they aren't shown?

 

They are shown...once you read them, they arent new anymore. I dont think there is a way to set it back...

 

As of this point that is how it works, once you view the thread it's no longer shown there. I like the old way better personally however with a different vbulletin v. It now works that way. I am working with IB on some changes, I don't have a implementation date but they said soon. Trying to update some features and add some stuff.
