*Just a little side note: notice how many times that I referred to the torque converter as a "converter" as opposed to a "stall", which is not what it is, but what it does Sorry, that's just something that irks me...like calling "nitrous oxide" "nawz"
Haha I know, but I did say the first time a "Higher stalling torque converter" then thereafter I called it stall. Less letters to type each time.

I also hate when people calls it NAWZ, NAWS, NOS!! Nos is a brand lol.

Good lord! that seems a bit much even for a 6.0 (if its the engine in your sig you're referring to).
yes it is and it really needs a stall, BAD lol. Just got done building the motor so a 7-900 dollar converter will have to wait a bit. Its not bad driving i just think it would be alot more fun with a 3k stall or so

2002-up LS6 camshaft will run pretty good in a 4.8 without a converter. However it won't get you much lope.

I thought about that, but I was told they work alot better for forced induction applications. I could get one for a decent price from a buddy of mine though...all I have to do is find a new one for his car haha
