Default What head

I'm gonna have heads off what head is a direct bolt on that can give me a good boost without getting too crazy. I have an lq9 with mp112 and installing Lep blower cam specs 224/230 with 612 lift and 116 lsa. Thanks Alex

not for 243's.. l92 top end requires a few things

although 243's drop compression so you'll need to have them milled

243's wouldn't drop compression, they would raise compression, it'd be 10.9:1 like an LS2 if he had stock LQ9 flat top pistons.

Might want to talk to WCCH and look into a port/valve job/combustion chamber re-size (down a little to raise compression a little, but not too much to cause problems with detonation, and enhance squish area.) See what he recommends for your 317's, those were just my ideas.

dont do a ported 243 head....send your 317 out for some work since you have a supercharger. they will flow just as good as the 243 and keep your compression where you need it.
