Okay regarding installing lock rings should the gap be up down or left right.. Read somewhere: Lockrings should always be installed with their gaps down to take advantage of the largest bearing area to withstand the greater upward inertia forces. Kind of a good read here: United Engine & Machine Co. Incorporated but what do you guys typically do? I need to buy the actual GM manual.
