I myself have had more than my share of issues with e-fans and after market harnesses. I also put the clutch fan back on just so I did not have to worry if the fans were going to work or not. I call it giving up 17 HP to make 600 DEPENDABLE HP.

Nice work! That was pretty fast. I can tell you were a little bit anxious to get it running again.

So I guess the big question is: What does your dipstick read?

i'm sure the hot weather in phoenix has lots to do with it.
Bingo! I'm tired of dealing with overheating while towing. I'm back to a totally stock cooling system setup. OEM radiator, the original clutch fan, and a 180* thermostat which keeps the truck around 200-210*. I never had any issues with overheating before I swapped e-fans.

Also right on....I'm tired of having to worry about stuff, the clutch fan will always be dependable, which is what I'm after at this point. I'm willing to compromise some to have something I won't have to mess with anymore.

I'm not sure what he's reading right now, he's still in Wyoming. I've been trying to get him to move back for awhile

There's no gray/blue smoke anymore! No more burning oil smell

Thanks for the comments everyone! I can't wait to get this thing through break in so I can start to open her up.
