Rex reused everything except the cam, heads, and pistons. Richard took the heads back on exchange, cam is sold to Kyle, and the pistons are for sale on tech.

How is he supposed to drive me home when he's 1200 miles away?

I'm still getting a little bit of oil smoke out the tailpipe, but under different circumstances that I was with the old engine. I spoke to Rex this morning about it and he thinks it might be the oil seals on the turbo.

I've heard of some rings doing that for awhile until they break in.

So do you feel a power increase? You should be able to feel some difference even though yo're baby'ing it.

Throttle response seems much snappier, and I can feel it start to pull pretty good at part throttle as soon as it passes 2000 RPM.

I got it smoking pretty good a little bit ago...I'll have to get some video. It doesn't act the same as it was before, so I'm hoping it's not an issue with the engine. I need to pull the turbo off and see if there's oil in it. I am not a happy person right now

What type of PCV do you currently have hooked up? That can definetly be a cause of oil ingestion, I hope you get it figured out.

I have an LS6 valley cover into the intake manifold, then the passenger side valve cover runs to a catch can and the to a fitting right behind the air filter.

I tried to get it to smoke again after sitting for about 30 minutes and it wouldn't. I'm thinking that the oil seal in the turbo is going, and that the oil will leak but won't get hot enough to smoke until the engine has run for a couple minutes. I need to pull the downpipe off the turbo and also the pipe between the turbo and intercooler and see what they look like.

I hate it if it is. I bought it new and put just a few thousand miles on it + whatever you put on it before. If you need it to be gone through I personally know some of the best guys in the business.
