The LSX RT intake is a waste of money.

The cylinder heads are a pretty penny too, are they worth it? You can just mill the stock heads to raise compression up a little bit and gain some free horsepower.

That cam is pretty small to want to make 420-450hp to the tire through a 4L80e and 4x4 system. You are talking like a 120-140hp gain over stock to the tire, that's alot to ask for.

Agree with LSXRT statement. go with NNBS or TBSS ( pretty much the same)
Heads are 100% absolutely worth it if wanting to make that 420-450 whp mark and keeping a nice DD friendly and tow friendly cam. I would get a custom ground cam for your needs though. Matt Gower of GPTuning handles all of my cam needs

this was my thoughts the cam is a custom grind from cam motion similar to a drop in truck cam that made 40rwhp on a 5.3 kip said that cam should put me in the 40-50 rwhp mark.last set of 243s heads cost to much.i bought the heads for $300 ship to tea there and back was aroud $60 got stg 2 port work with btr springs $1500 had to replace seals so that was 2k for the heads i can get the tfs as cast for the same price and i dont mind going with the tbss or the newer 5.3 intake

i make 320 now basically stock so lets say 45rwhp on the cam 45rwhp on the heads and a ported tbss intake should be good for 20rwhp.so thats 110rwhp a 1-7/8 heads 3in exhaust should be 20rwhp so 430rwhp i would think

Consider a converter. Will be worth every penny. Even for a daily driver.

Cam, intake, 1 7/8 LTs and 3.5" exhaust was worth 100whp on my 5.3.

Even if you don’t go crazy with a converter, the K1 converter on 80s will stall to 2500rpm or so on a 6.0. Those cams won’t start making power until then anyway.
