Default Not a max effort build for GMC Yukon

I have a set of 243 stock casting heads and a stock Fast 102 intake. Since this isn't a max effort build would it be worth it to have the heads and intake ported? It's just an iron block with LS2 internals and a cam in the 220 range. I'd like the truck to run some 13-14s and if port work is needed I will do it. My question is what amount of port work would I need. Thanks

That’s a lot of weight to push around for an intake designed for something that weighs 1500lb less. But, sure, it’ll work with a bigger converter, like 3000rpm stall or so. Don’t bother with porting. Hell, I’m sure most guys will just say to stick a blower on top of your goals are a sub 14 1/4 mile.

I can't see how that intake would be a good choice at all in this situation. Moderate pocket porting is always an advantage IMHO but I wouldn't bother with anything else unless just a port match. Don't want big ports for this. I agree with FI bigly.
