Default Importance of quench on a turbo engine?

I know there are mixed opinions on this, just wanting to know what you guys have experienced. Im going to be lowering the compression on my new engine. I think the quench is a big deal on NA, but the piston manufactures say with FI the quench is of very little, or no importance. I had designed the engine to be run hear at 7000' elevation, but I might be moving back to Ca so the 10.3:1 CR isn't going to work. I talked with a piston guy today who suggested dropping the piston in the hole by switching from a 6.125'' rod to a 6.100'' then adding thicker head gaskets to get my new targeted 9.2:1 CR. I don't know If I like that idea at all. To me once boosted a gain, or mistake in NA configuration is doubled. We were going to cut a dish in the piston but It will get to thin with the 15cc dish I will need. I would change the pistons but no one makes a dished piston that I like.

Wisecos -11cc piston with stock MLS gaskets and 6.125 rods will put you at 9.2:1 with a 72cc heads.

My heads are 69cc for some reason. They have been milled 3x for a total of .015''. I like the wiseco but it's a little too heavy, and It has 1/16 rings, I want to stay at stock weight and 1.5mm ring pack. Also looking for a 4032 Alloy. All the pistons I find are the 2618. Mahle can make the piston I need but they are $200.00 each, and takes 12 weeks Im probably going to put together another stocker for now, I bought a set of 05 LQ4 pistons with the LS 2 style rods from Kyle. Im just going to dingle ball a std bore 6.0 block I have out in the garage and run it with my old beat up ****. So we might see just how far a stock internal 05 up 6.0L will go. Im going to hold off on the new engine for now, I don't even want to build it unless it's exactaly the way I want it.
