Also forgot to mention a dyno tune would be the ticket, but if you can't find anybody to do a tune now i doubt your gona get a dyno tune done

I am building motor to go in my wife's truck now. It will he a head and cam iron LS2, she has a 5.3 in there now and the ECU has been tuned by Vengeance. When the new motor goes in it will be loaded on a trailer and towed to Vengeance to be tuned by them on a dyno. Or I will have the ECU shipped to them to have a base tune loaded to be able to drive it to them and have it dyno tuned. IMO if possible having it tuned on a dyno with some real world road tuning also is best if possible. I understand a lot of people don't have that kind of oportunity but where possible it. What if you maybe had someone local to you or as close as possible tune it. Or maybe ship your computer to them, have them flash it so you can drive it to them and their facility and have them fine tune it once up and running. Just a thought

well i did some searching here in puerto rico but all i can find is guys that due imports so i'm most likely goanna get a mail in tune and then just take it to the dyno an see where im at in all of this an if anything i'll just send it back for a retune i guess.

As a dyno tune would be best, if it's not possible, I think that Justin's (Blackbear) log style tune where he sends you the scan cable is the next best thing.

It would be much better if it were a load bearing dyno! like a mustang dyno instead of a dyno-jet. More accurate for tuning for real world numbers instead of a free spinning wheel like the dyno-jets. If thats not possible I would def. agree with budhayes and go with someone who can send you the box to do some logs!!
