Default How is this cam

Well, I'm in the process of getting a cam from a fellow ls1tech member and the cam he said is 206/212 515/525 112 +4* he said the lift may be off a little becuase he was going by memory. Can anyone tell me what the real lift may be. How would this cam do as a daily driver? What kind of tuning would be needed or could I drive around with the HPP3 for a while? Would this cam lope pretty good with the cutouts open? Also I've herd that some cams you need to drill the hole out more in the throttle body to raise the idel a little bit, would I need to do this, but I'm thinking a tune will take care of that by raising the idle or would I even need to mess with the idle? Sorry for all the questions but I'm still learning about cam specs. Thanks

sounds like a good cam especially for a stock converter, I would think the lift numbers are a little higher need to know those to choose springs. That advance ground in should keep the power band down Id think with good exhaust it would be suitable for towing and lower tq
How did it perform in the other guys truck.

this i9s the right place to post internal stuff. that cam that you are looking at isnt going to lope a whole lot. you will be able to tell it has a cam if you listen to it but not while sitting at a light next to someone. that one will keep a lot of low end. i ran a 216-220-525-532-114 with a stock converter for a whi9le. it wasnt to bad. the one cammin03 has is an all around real good cam.
