does anyone else have a suggestion for the cam in the 370? I just want this engine to turn out good. Ive seen guys running a 22x/23x cams in the motors. How well did they work with the combo?

Little change of plans. I went with diamond -15cc dish pistons and eagle rods with 2000 arp rod bolt. Still undecided on the cam.

I wouldnt go to big on the cam with a Radix, especially if you are going with a 112 compressor. Personally I would use what you have but thats just me.

Okay i decided to give the cam i have now a shot. Now i have a another question. What other supporting motor mods should i do? I will be going with:

eagle rods with 2000 arp bolt
diamond dish pistons -15cc
top of the line piston rings
high volume oil pump
918 valve spings
hardened push rods
ls7 lifters
317 heads
216/224 551/551 115lsa cam
cometic head gasket
New bearings
head and main studs

Should i go with an upgraded flexplate, harmonic balancer or different rocker arms? If you guys have any suggestions please post up. I want this motor to last.

Also if anyone is interested in stock lq4 rods, piston, cam, timing set, pushrods, valve springs and oil pump let me know. I will be removing these items this week end. I will be posting them for sale if no one is interested.

as far as i can tell you left out fuel.
depending on how high you crank up the boost, you have to feed it fuel.
a 370 is far from a 325 and requires more fuel.
just be ready to upgrade the injectors, regulator, and fuel pump if you
max out on the 42 lbs you have now.

get a copy of the new Popular Hot Rodding...they do a pretty good review of the new Vette 6.2l with the TVR 2300. The most interesting thing for me was the pistons. They were able to get the wrist pins out of the rings, which was something I cudn't manage. Mine are Diamond (4.005/1.162 @ -11 vol), and I was concerned about that and the short skirt if it gets pushed too far. As for cam I now have 222/228 on 115 and its workin great. Heads: Allpro 236cc with 2x3135x4900 intake valve and 1.6x313x4915 exh valve, Patriot extreme dual spings, 1.75 full roller/hydrolic rockers, eagle Rods (crs6250b3d) & crank, and cometic C5317-051 gasket...as for fuel, walbro intank, KB BAP, AlkyControl Meth, and 60lb injectors...R/

I would do a OD Crank Pulley if you are going to run a Radix. I wouldnt worry about the rocker arms.
