Default Help me with my 370 build.

Im picking up my motor this this weekend. A LQ4 with 317. I would like to figure out what way i want to go with this motor. I stuck between going with either a supercharger/turbo or on the other hand N2O. I want a 11sec truck if possible. Im going to use the factory 317s and stick with the factory crank. Everything else on the motor will be forged. As far as cam go im think about staying with the cam i have now but im willing to change it if i have to. I guess what im asking is how should i set the motor up cr wise and what power adder should i go with. I know everyone is going to say the 122 radix but will a 112 take care of the 370 and to what point? Im selling the whipple so thats out of the question. Also since there is a few 370 build going on what is everyones prefernce on pistons and rods so far. Any better than other? Thanks guys.

Whether or not to SC or Turbo is one big question. I dont think anyone would disagree that the MP112 is too small for a 370.

I have done alot of reading but i got mixed responses to if the 112 would feed a 370. How hard could i push the 112 before being out of the range of the blower?

Go with an off the shelf diamond piston and some Callies rods.

If all you want is 11's id say leave them stock with the exception of springs. If you are going to invest cash in heads at least get some after market castings with a thicker deck IMO.
If you want to stay with the same casting but have a worked set contact Richard@ WCCH

Id say try to get 8.9:1CR

You may have to get some cosmetic .40's and go with a -15 cc piston. Diamond select (total seal) rings will work fine.

I would contact Rick@synergy for a cam for the motor. He will spec something out that will get you awesome HP/TQ
