Did I kill my motor???

Convertor lockup was controlled by the speedo on some early 700r4 vehicles, so I could see that MAYBE being possible if something wasn't quite right.

I used to shut off my M715 with a 350, and 700R4 and restart it in N and shift back to D while rolling. Previous owner put a full wiring harness from an 89 truck into it. The gauges were all transfered into it too, check engine light would come on a lot, and it wasn't on the dimmer. Restarting the truck would always get the light to shut off, sometimes I didn't feel like stopping to restart the truck.
