Question valve spring replacement

i only have 137K miles and was wondering if any of you guys have changed valve springs,at that kind of mileage on a stock motor 1999 5.3 (factory cam).
i know its probably not necessary but, whats the chances that it could make a difference?
thanks
Ed

probably nobody but i could be wrong. valve springs are the hardest part of a cam swap so if you went to the work of swapping in some springs you might as well throw a mild cam in there at the same time

+1...I'm sure that there isn't anybody on this site who just swapped stockers for stockers. I have heard of guys running around with 300K on their stock GENIII engines though, so if you use that as a meter, you're not even half way there

If you do decide that you want to swap your springs, get some yellow LS6 springs at the very least...they're inexpensive and will already be in there if and when you decide to swap in a mild cam
